Knitting for Lydia

These are pictures of my beautiful daughter Lydia. I really enjoy knitting clothes for her. Thanks to Ravelry my knitting skills have greatly improved.

I purchased this pattern by Pixie Purls ( through Ravelry for $5.00. It is knit from the top down which I prefer to knit since I hate to do seaming at the end. I finished the pattern over the summer and it was a little big on Lydia at the time. I made it in the 12 month size. However, it fits her much better now especially with a onesie underneath the sweater. The yarn used was Koigu Painters Palette Premium Merino which I love because it is machine washable and is durable under toughest toddler activities.
